1. Service Description
Fynance is a personal finance management tool that allows users to:
Scan and digitize shopping receipts using AI and OCR technology.
Track expenses and income through an automated dashboard.
Interact with an AI Assistant regarding their financial data.
Secure local data using PIN and Biometric authentication.
2. Data Privacy & AI Processing
Your privacy is our priority. Fynance operates on the following principles:
Local Storage: Most of your financial data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database.
AI Analysis: When you scan a receipt or ask a question, relevant text is sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini or DeepSeek) for processing. This data is not used for advertising.
Security: We do not have access to your PIN or Biometric data. These are managed by your device's secure enclave.
3. User Responsibility
As a user, you are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your security PIN.
Performing regular backups using the "Backup & Restore" feature to prevent data loss.
Verifying the accuracy of AI-extracted data from receipts.
4. Limitation of Liability
Fynance shall not be liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on AI-generated insights. The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate results (hallucinations). You agree to use the app at your own risk.
5. Local Backups
The "Offline Backup" feature generates a .zip file on your device storage. Protecting this file from unauthorized access or accidental deletion is the user's sole responsibility.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.
